What an AI promotional video actually costs in 2026

Most businesses asking about a promotional video get quoted a single number with nothing behind it. Here is what actually goes into one, so you can judge any quote you receive — including ours.

The work behind a one-minute video

A minute of finished video is roughly a day of work. The script has to be written and approved, the voiceover recorded or generated, the scenes built or sourced, and then an editor has to cut it so the pacing holds attention. AI tooling has collapsed the middle steps — scenes and voiceover that used to mean a shoot and a studio can now be produced in hours — but the writing at the start and the editing at the end are still human work, and that is where the quality difference shows.

What we charge

We price per finished minute: Rs 1,000 for one minute, Rs 2,700 for three, Rs 4,000 for five. Longer videos cost less per minute because the setup work is shared across the whole runtime. Two rounds of revisions are included, and you get the video sized for YouTube, for vertical reels and for WhatsApp.

Where costs usually hide

Watch for three things in any quote. First, revisions: if they are not included, the second version costs as much as the first. Second, aspect ratios — a landscape video that has not been recut for reels is half a deliverable. Third, licensing on music and stock footage, which sometimes lapses a year later and takes your video down with it.

When AI is the wrong answer

If your product has to be seen being used, or your founder is the pitch, then film it. AI is excellent for explainers, offers, festival campaigns and product launches where the visuals support the message. It is not a replacement for showing something real.
