Posting daily is not a social media strategy

Every small business gets told to post daily. Most try it, run out of things to say in three weeks, and conclude social media does not work for them. The problem was never the frequency.

Decide what a post is for

Each post should do one of three jobs: show the work, answer a question a customer actually asks, or make an offer. If a post does none of those, it is filler — and filler trains people to scroll past you.

A monthly rhythm that holds up

Twelve posts a month is plenty when they are the right twelve: four showing finished work, four answering common questions, two behind the scenes, two offers. Add four short reels, because video reaches further than images on every feed right now.

Paid promotion, used narrowly

Boosting everything wastes money. Boost the two posts that already did well organically, aimed at your service area, and leave the rest alone.

Report on what matters

Followers is a vanity number. The ones worth tracking are enquiries received, cost per enquiry, and how many became customers. If your agency reports reach and impressions but not enquiries, ask why.

That is the shape of what we run for clients: a calendar, the creatives, scheduled posting, a small paid budget on what is already working, and a monthly report in plain English.
